  • Start Date: October 1, 2025

  • End Date: October 31, 2025
    All changes must be submitted by the deadline—no exceptions.

👥 Who Should Enroll

  • All employees including new hires for the 25-26 school year

    • Benefits will not rollover if enrollment is not completed

  • USERNAME: Full Social Security Number (no hyphens)

  • PIN: Last 4 digits of SSN + last 2 digits of birth year
    (Example: SSN 123-45-6789, birth year 1980 → PIN = 678980)

We’ve made several updates to improve your benefits experience and offer more value:

💻 New Benefits Enrollment Platform

  • We’re transitioning to a new benefits enrollment site for a smoother, more user-friendly experience.

  • Benefitsolver is being eliminated—you’ll receive instructions on accessing the new system during Open Enrollment.

💰 Rate Changes

  • Updated premium rates for Medical, Dental, and Vision plans
    (Check the Benefits Guide or Enrollment Portal for details)

🛡️ New Provider for Voluntary Benefits

  • UNUM is now the provider for:

    • Accident Insurance

    • Critical Illness

    • Hospital Indemnity

    • Individual Life Insurance

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Who Are My Eligible Dependents?

When enrolling in benefits, it’s important to know who qualifies as a dependent under your plan. Eligible dependents include:

  • Spouse: Legally married (including common-law and same sex)

  • Children:

    • Biological children

    • Stepchildren

    • Legally adopted children

    • Children for whom you have legal guardianship

  • Dependent Children Age Limit:

    • Covered up to age 26, regardless of student or marital status

    • Coverage may extend beyond age 26 if the child is disabled and dependent on you for care with proper documentation provided to BCBS for approval

Documentation May Be Required:
Be prepared to provide marriage certificates, birth certificates, or legal guardianship/adoption papers during upon enrollment.
