Due to the large number of power outages in Alief and surrounding areas, the district will remain closed on Tuesday, July 9th. This will allow the power companies the time needed to restore power to our area and give staff the opportunity to assess any damages caused by the tropical storm.

The district has been continuously monitoring the path of Tropical Storm Beryl over the past few days. Out of an abundance of caution and to ensure the safety of our staff and students, we have decided to close the district tomorrow, July 8th.
We will continue to monitor the weather and share any updates on the resuming of business by the end of the day tomorrow.

Film Fest 2024 The 11th Annual Alief District Filmfest will be held on Thursday, May 2nd at the Alief Center for Advanced Careers. 5:00pm to 8:00pm. The event is free.
