Dear Youngblood Families and Community,

February is a meaningful month as we observe Black History Month, a time dedicated to recognizing the history, contributions, and lasting impact of Black Americans. At Youngblood, this observance provides opportunities for age-appropriate learning, reflection, and appreciation as students continue to grow in their understanding of history and character.

February is also often recognized as a month of love, which aligns naturally with our focus on encouraging students to show kindness, care, and respect toward one another. As we move through this month, we continue to emphasize positive interactions, thoughtful words, and consideration for others. These are key skills that support both personal growth and a strong school community.

Academically, we are proud of the strong start our students have made this semester. Students have remained focused and engaged as we prepare for upcoming assessments, and we are encouraged by the effort and perseverance we see across classrooms each day.

We would also like to extend a sincere thank you to our families for your continued support in ensuring students attend school daily. Because of your partnership, Youngblood recently earned another attendance award, reflecting our shared commitment to student success. Regular attendance makes a meaningful difference, and we are grateful for your dedication.

Thank you for your continued collaboration as we support our students academically and socially while honoring important moments of learning and reflection throughout the year.

As Wildcats, we remain ALL IN! We are also supporting our students, celebrating progress, and moving forward together with purpose and care.

With appreciation,

Cassandra Dyson

Youngblood Wildcats #All-In

Mission

The students of Youngblood are our highest priority. We believe Youngblood must possess a warm, caring, positive environment, where students love learning and will learn to set goals and achieve those goals. Youngblood must be a place where individual learning styles are recognized, where teachers teach, and where students learn in a safe environment.
