We are proud to announce that Xavi Rivera has been selected for the TMEA Region XXIII Jazz Band 2! This is a tremendous accomplishment, as the audition process is both rigorous and highly competitive. Students must prepare advanced jazz etudes, demonstrate improvisational skills, and perform with stylistic accuracy. Xavi competed against outstanding musicians from Houston ISD, Alief ISD, and Katy ISD, some of the largest and strongest music programs in the state. His achievement reflects his talent, dedication, and hard work.
