Our Community in Schools (CIS) team recently provided our students with an unforgettable experience at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, creating lasting memories while connecting classroom learning to realβworld experiences. The trip gave students the opportunity to explore Texas history and culture up close through livestock exhibitions, agricultural showcases, and interactive educational displays.
Students enjoyed seeing a variety of animals, learning about farming and ranching traditions, and experiencing the excitement and energy that makes the rodeo a Houston tradition. Beyond the fun, the trip encouraged curiosity, teamwork, and engagement while exposing students to new interests and career pathways in agriculture, science, and animal care.
We are incredibly grateful to our CIS team for their dedication to student enrichment and for organizing experiences that support both academic and personal growth. Opportunities like this help strengthen connections, build confidence, and inspire our students to dream big beyond the classroom walls.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this experience possible and for continuing to invest in meaningful opportunities for our students.
