Alief ISD Limited Open Enrollment Information
-
Parents of students living outside the Alief ISD attendance boundaries will have an opportunity to apply to enroll their children in selected Alief ISD schools for the school year through the Limited Open Enrollment Program.
The program will help Alief ISD because state funding is based on enrollment. For each additional student enrolled in Alief ISD, the district retains more of its local tax revenue, which in turn will help the district support its maintenance and operations, as well as continue to build innovative programs and retain highly qualified staff.

The application for Limited Open Enrollment (LOE) is open and ready for first-time applicants and for current LOE students who wish to return to Alief ISD for the upcoming school year.
Parents of students who enroll through the Limited Open Enrollment program are responsible for transporting their children to and from school. There is no tuition fee for attendance.
Students in grades Pre-Kindergarten through 12th Grade are eligible for the Limited Open Enrollment Program. Pre-Kindergarten students can apply if they meet enrollment criteria set forth by the Texas Education Agency.

- Kerr High School
- Taylor High School
Limited Open Enrollment applications are currently being accepted. Applications and supporting documents can be submitted online using the digital application in English or Spanish.
