The Alief Independent School District Education Foundation will acquire donations and provide grants for programs and projects that enhance the quality of education for the students of the Alief Independent School District.

The Foundation will achieve its mission by directing support toward the following goals:

1. Enhance student academic opportunities and personal development.

a. Provide resources for educational activities for students including out-of-school expenses.
b. Award scholarships for academic achievement and leadership opportunities. 
c. Model activities adaptable to all students which serve to promote academic success, personal well-being, and respect for others.

2. Encourage exemplary employee achievement within all divisions of Alief Independent School District.a. Recognize excellence in the area of employee achievement and growth.

b. Provide venture capital for innovative programs and activities. 
c. Fund professional development and leadership programs.

3. Promote continued support from individuals, business, and civic organizations.

a. Create greater community awareness of the importance and direction of public education - especially in the Alief Independent School District
b. Support events which encourage greater school/community understanding.
c. Facilitate and enhance school/community partnership. 

The Alief ISD Education Foundation is a 501(C)3 tax-exempt non-profit charitable organization.

Foundation Programs and Events

• Golf Tournament:
  The annual benefit helps to raise funds for the Alief ISD Education Foundation; contributors enjoy a round of golf, dinner, and raffle.

  Clothing Pantry:
  The Foundation accepts new and gently used uniforms, schools supplies, and monetary donations to help provide uniforms and supplies for students.

  Scholarships & Grants:
  Teachers benefit from educational mini grants, while Alief ISD seniors are eligible for the various Foundation scholarships.
