Environmental Compliance

Environmental issues are hot topics all across the globe. It is not any less an issue at Alief ISD. We are constantly striving to protect the environment by compliance procedures on hazardous waste, underground and above ground storage tanks and medical waste. The Alief Independent School District includes indoor air quality as an important issue for a healthy work environment. Through reporting procedures and guidelines the district works to meet the standards of the Texas Department of Health, the Texas Natural Resources Conservation Commission, the Texas Commission on Fire Prevention and local Fire Departments.
