New Job Application System for Prospective Employees

As a Houston Chronicle Top Workplace for the fifth consecutive year, thank you for considering Alief ISD as your potential future employer.

Please read this announcement carefully as it describes some important changes in the way interested applicants will apply for positions in Alief ISD.

Starting on January 11, 2021, Alief ISD will begin transitioning from Winocular to a new application system.  We will begin using PowerSchool Unified Talent Applicant Tracking to post available positions and accept applications at https://www.aliefisd.net/jobs

From January 11 to March 1, 2021, prospective job applicants for the following departments will need to apply through https://www.aliefisd.net/jobs:

  • Custodial
  • Maintenance
  • Nutrition
  • Transportation

During that time period, prospective job applicants for all other departments and for Alief ISD schools will need to continue to apply through https://www.aliefisd.net/winocular.

After March 1, all district job postings will only be available through https://www.aliefisd.net/jobs.

 


 

WINOCULAR TO POWERSCHOOL FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

 

What does this mean to you as a new applicant?

If you are applying for a new job in one of the above departments on or after January 11, 2021, you will need to apply for the jobs you see posted at https://www.aliefisd.net/jobs. The process will be very similar to applying for a position with almost any organization. You will need to create an account, build a profile, and apply for the job(s) you are seeking. During that time period, prospective job applicants for all other departments and for Alief ISD schools will need to continue to apply through https://www.aliefisd.net/winocular.

What does this mean if I have already applied for a job?

If you filled out an application to an active job posting in Winocular prior to January 11, we will still have access to your existing job application until March 1, 2021.

After March 1, 2021, if you would like to continue to be considered for a position you have previously applied for through Winocular, you will need to fill out a new application the new PowerSchool Unified Talent Applicant Tracking system at https://www.aliefisd.net/jobs.

What if I am not applying for a position in one of the departments listed above?

From January 11 to March 1, 2021, prospective job applicants for all other departments and for Alief ISD schools will need to continue to apply through https://www.aliefisd.net/winocular.

All district job postings and applications will eventually switch over to the new Applicant Tracking system on or before March 1, 2020.

While the district transitions from Winocular to PowerSchool Unified Talent Applicant Tracking, Alief ISD hiring managers will be able to access older Winocular-based job applications until approximately April 1, 2021.
