  Welcome to the Alief Learning Center, a Place of Excellence! Our goal here at the ALC is to ensure that quality instruction and learning is taking place in each classroom and to ensure a safe and orderly environment throughout the school community. The ALC is committed to providing all students opportunities to succeed academically, behaviorally, and socially. We teach, model, and equip students with the tools necessary to meet their individual goals so they can return to their main campus as productive students and community members.
  
  Here at ALC, we believe that open and clear communication between school and home is essential to the success of our students and our educational program. We know the students we serve have great potential, and it requires every individual in their lives to purposefully work together for their success. The staff at ALC continually learn and grow through collaboration with all stakeholders so that we have the necessary skills to empower and teach our students. Through our program, students can gain lifelong skills that can be utilized in their everyday lives.
  
  The Panther staff is committed to a high standard of excellence, and we exemplify this in our everyday work. It is our belief that all children can learn and progress at the highest level of their ability and that behavior can be improved. We are here to help shape students’ lives and help them succeed once they exit from the ALC.
