Superintendent's Teacher Advisory Committee

  • The Superintendent’s Teacher Advisory Committee (STAC) is comprised of recognized master teachers from across the district who have earned the respect and credibility from their campus by being selected as their recent campus Teacher of the Year (or in previous years).

    The purpose of the STAC will be for teachers to represent their 3,100 professional colleagues from across Alief ISD in discussions with Alief ISD administrators and staff member on issues that are relevant to the Main Thing: Student Achievement and Development. Committee members discuss topics that the district believes is critical for our teachers to know in four meetings over the course of the school year.

  • The Superintendent’s Student Advisory Committee is comprised of 25 high school students who have been selected to represent the Alief ISD student population. They discuss a range of topics with Alief ISD administrators and staff member that are relevant to the Main Thing: Student Achievement and Development.
