ALC's STAR Program

  • Due to COVID-19, this program has been temporarily suspended.

    Students referred to ALC for the following reasons must attend the STAR Program before they return to their home school.

    • fighting, physical/verbal aggression

    • gang related activity

    • drug or alcohol related activity

    All parents are welcomed and are required to attend at least one STAR parent program.  Refreshments are provided for parents and child care is available for small children (2+). 

    The first Tuesday of each month will focus on providing parents with an opportunity to interact with representatives from community agencies and organizations which provide support services for youth and families.

    The format will be in the form of a browse area located in the ALC Gymnasium where representatives will have tables with resource info. Parents are encouraged to browse, ask questions, and share information. Students may not attend these STAR Parent Night activities.

     

    Students must wear school uniform

    Students will need to arrive @ 6:20 p.m.

    Time: 6:30p.m. to 7:30p.m.

    Have your ride waiting on you by 7:15 p.m

     

    STAR Program Requirement

    30 Days=1 student (1 parent Star)

    45 Days=2 student (1 parent Star)

    60 Days=3 student (1 parent Star)
