Welcome to Transportation
-
Due to social distancing recommendations to prevent the spread of COVID-19, only visitors with appointments have limited access to the building. Face coverings are required for all employees and visitors.
We remain committed to providing our community with the best possible service during this time.
The Alief ISD Transportation Department strives to provide safe, punctual and courteous transportation to the students of the school district. The Alief ISD Transportation provides regular morning and afternoon bus stops for eligible students attending their home campus as determined by the Alief ISD established attendance boundaries. Safe and efficient bus stops are established for each grade level. Each student is pre-assigned to the safest established bus stop for their destination.
A student should be picked up and dropped off only at the designated stop. For safety reasons, students should arrive at the bus stop 10 minutes prior to their scheduled pick-up time.
It's the law! Motorists must not attempt to pass a school bus when its red lights are flashing. Observe the 20 mph speed limit in school zones.
