    I am honored to serve as the Principal of the Alief Learning Center! I am native of Lafayette, La where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Southwestern Louisiana. I continued my education at Prairie View A&M with a Master’s Degree in Special Education to include Diagnostician. My journey as an educator started in 1998 in Louisiana. I became a part of the Alief ISD family in 2002 as a DC Structured teacher at Olle Middle School. I moved on to Assistant Principal in 2004 here at the Alief Learning Center. My Assistant Principal career in Alief ISD also includes serving at Taylor HS and Hastings HS. I moved on to Harris County Dept of Education in 2008 where I served as a Principal for 10 years. I was honored to return back to Alief ISD and ALC as Principal as of July 2018!

    My true passion is in working with at-risk student populations. As a 20 year educator, I continuously strive to support our students academically as well as socially. I am here to serve and support!
