Welcome!

  • Every Child Has a Right to an Education

The federal McKinney-Vento Homeless Education Assistance Improvements Act and Texas state law protect the rights of homeless children and youth to receive a free and appropriate public education.  The mission of Alief Independent School District's Homeless and Unaccompanied Youth Services Program is to assist students and families who are homeless. The goal of our program is to address these students' educational needs and ensure academic success.
