Mrs. C. Williams
Hi! I'm Mrs. Williams!
I am a native Houstonian and proud teacher, library information specialist, mother of four and wife of one. I graduated from the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in 2000 and went on to college in Washington, D.C. at Howard University. I graduated from Howard in 2004 with a degree in Music Education. I moved back to Houston and began teaching in HISD for two years before coming to Alief and working at Bush Elementary in 2007 as the music teacher. I became the librarian in January of 2015 while studying for my Masters in Library Science. I graduated from University of North Texas-Denton in 2016 with a MS in Library Science. I have truly enjoyed my time here at Bush and take pride in knowing I have touched the lives of some many Bobcats in the years past.
My goals for the Bobcat library are to open the minds of the students to the world of reading. I plan on starting a book club, makerspace, tech club, and drama club. Stay tuned for the new things happening in the library!!!

Kindergarten, first, and second graders are allowed to check out 1 book at a time. Third and Fourth graders are allowed to check out 2 books at a time.
What do I do if I lost my book or if it was stolen?
Books that are lost or stolen will have to be paid for through the library. Library staff will print out an inventory of the lost or stolen item with how much is owed. A receipt will be given for any money received for lost or stolen books.
My child is withdrawing from the school and has a library book out, what should I do?
If your child has the book, they can return it before leaving. If the book is lost, then the book will need to be paid for before being cleared for withdrawing from the school.
My child did not get their report card because they owe a book. What should I do?
Please pay the fine on the inventory sheet that the child receives when they have overdue items. If the child has the book(s), return the items and the report card will be given upon receipt.
