Allison McBrayer

Whether you are an artist or a friend of an artist, I am happy to welcome you to our little art corner!

I graduated from Baylor University in 2004 with a BSE. After teaching first grade in the Dallas area, I made the move to Houston and the switch to my favorite subject, ART! Since 2017, I have been a proud member of the Texas Art Educators Association and part of the Alief family.

My favorite part of teaching art is helping kids explore their imagination and be successful at new things. I love to see their creativity come alive in my class and build a bridge for them in their core classes, like reading, writing and math. For this reason, you will see varied cultures, elements, and principles of art reflected in our work. Thank you for letting me invest in your students who I hope to see become our future architects, engineers, and fine artists.
