“Music is art! Instead of using paint, pencils or colors, musicians use sound and silence to create a picture.”

Hello, my name is Keegan Breaker. I have over 30 years of experience as a musician and 17 years of experience as a music educator. My principal instrument is the trombone. I am trained in classical and jazz. I also have a vast experience in music technology, music composition and production.

I believe that any student can be a musician. It is my job as a music teacher to find their niche. I approach teaching music with a huge focus on music theory (the study of how music is constructed) and literacy (reading music notation).
