I am very excited to see and welcome all my students to Art Class.

I have more than 20 years of teaching in Alief ISD, and the last 4 years I have taught Art. I am a member of Texas Art Education Association.

I enjoy teaching my students about how Art is an important component in their lives, I also help them understand how to solve problems, and how it relates to the real world. I will always find ways to encourage my students to better their art education. I like to challenge myself as well as my students to their own abilities and growth with new techniques, inspiration, and creativity.

Pamela Stoot

I have been a music teacher at Alexander Elementary for 9 years.  My musical background consists of performing classical trumpet as well as performing in various ensembles such as marching band, orchestra, jazz band, and wind ensemble.  One of my most proudest achievements was being selected as an Alief ISD Teacher of the Year finalist in 2019.

Throughout my years of teaching, I have produced more than thirty musical programs.  My love for performance goes beyond my music class.   In 2015, I established the All Star Boyz Step Team, which was an award-winning group that performed all over Houston, as well as at the 2018 Alief ISD Convocation.  I am very passionate about organizing shows and giving students opportunities to display their talents.

I enjoy teaching children music and providing them with the skills that will help prepare them for their future.  It is my goal to expose my students to new experiences, build their self-confidence, and help them reach their ultimate potential.
