About the Alief Strategic Teacher Compensation Plan
In Alief ISD, we believe in providing each of our students with the tools necessary to achieve a quality education. In order to better serve our students, we are proud to announce the Alief Strategic Teacher Compensation Plan. This plan has two pathways: the Alief ISD ELITE Academy and the Teacher Incentive Allotment.
We believe in unlocking the potential of every student in Alief ISD, regardless of their race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, ethnicity, language, religion, family background or family income.
Our model of equity is about meeting teachers, students, and families where they are in their career and educational trajectories. It’s about providing the necessary extra supports to ensure people have access to the same opportunities, regardless of where they started.
By implementing the Alief Strategic Compensation Plan, Alief ISD will ensure that the most effective teachers and administrators are working with our most vulnerable students. This will create an educational environment built upon equity.
