Eligibility & Entry Requirements

  • The 2018 Alief Idol competition is open to all academically eligible K-12 Alief ISD enrolled students who wish to showcase their singing talents. Music Selection

  • Competitors may perform a song from the genre of their choice.  Rapping may be integrated into the song, however the competition is a singing competition, and all contestants will be judged on their singing ability.  Audition submissions must have accompanying background music.
