Hello! My name is Kristin Hicks. I am from the small town of Tatum, TX. I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University (SFA) in Nacogdoches, TX with a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in Early Childhood. I have been teaching since August 2003. I received my Master's Degree in Counseling from Lamar University in Beaumont, TX in 2013. I have taught PreK for 4 years, Kindergarten for 2 years, 4th grade for 3 years, and 2nd grade for 2 years. I enjoy children of all ages! I started counseling at Outley in August 2014 and I absolutely LOVE being a counselor. As the counselor, I am here to help or find the help my students, families, and staff members need. I am looking forward to meeting you!
