Overview

  • The Alief ISD Educational Improvement Council (EIC) is a district-level committee that serves in an advisory role to the Superintendent by reviewing and providing input on the district's educational goals, objectives, and major district-wide classroom instructional programs.  The EIC is comprised of elected campus teachers and other professionals, as well as other district staff, volunteer parents and students, and business and community members.

During the school year, the EIC meets monthly to learn about and provide input on a variety of district programs and practices which impact students and staff.

If you are a parent of an Alief ISD student, a community member who resides in the District, or would like to represent your business or company and are interested in serving on the EIC, please contact Patrick Cherry at 281-498-8110, extension 29085 or patrick.cherry@aliefisd.net
