Degrees and Certifications:
My name is Martha D. Sepulveda, and I am so happy to be the counselor at Martin Elementary. This is my 18th year in education, and my 12th year in Alief. I care about your social, emotional, and academic needs. I support everyone- from students and parents, to even teachers. You can come to the counselor if you need someone to talk to about what is in your heart. You are not alone!
Below is our character spotlight at Martin. We will wear a specific color on the first Tuesday of each month to kick off our month long study.
- August: Responsibility (Blue)
- September: Respect (Red)
- October: Empathy (Orange)
- November: Gratitude (Yellow)
- December: Honesty (White)
- January: Perseverance (Neon colors)
- February: Kindness (Pink)
- March: Pride (Purple)
- April: Cooperation (Rainbow colors)
- May: Self Control (Green)
This year I have the pleasure of working with Student Council as well. We will work on leadership skills, college preparedness, and participate in school, district and community events. We cannot wait to share some of the things we have been working on!
If students want to see me, they can fill out a blue referral form and put it in my office mailbox. If parents want to meet with me, they can make an appointment or stop by. Martha.Sepulveda@aliefisd.net or 281-983-8363.
