Community and Parental Involvement
Chambers Elementary believes that collaborating with parents and community is essential to student success. At Chambers, we have a strong partnership between the school and home. This is evident in many activities throughout the year.
The Principal and Counselor Chats are discussions of topics that are specific to parent concerns, such as homework help, social skills, bullying, and character development and ways to improve our campus.
To promote parent-community involvement, we hold several after-school family events, such as He and Me Night, All-Star Family Night, Winter Festival and the Hoedown. During these family night events, the students and parents participate in hands-on and numerous other engaging activities.
Community awareness is also a strong focus at Chambers Elementary. The students and staff are involved in a variety of projects that provide community outreach opportunities. Our Kindness Club collected many toiletry items that were donated to the House of Amos, an organization which provides assistance to people in need.
Chambers Elementary continues to emphasize the importance of strong, positive school-community relationships that are essential to student success.
