Gifted & Talented
Chambers Elementary provides gifted and talented services to students from kindergarten to 4th grade by teachers who have received at least 30 hours of professional development in the area of gifted education. Each year teachers are trained to identify the characteristics and qualities of gifted and talented students. Kindergarten-2nd grade students receive services through our PEP Program. Students in our PEP program are challenged in the classroom, and in the spring semester these students work with content specialists to complete one research project. 3rd and 4th grades students are serviced through our Quest program. In addition to the rigorous classwork provided by their classroom teachers, the students participate in a 3 hour a week pull out program that focuses on research studies in various content areas.
