My name is Graciano Chapa, for the last nineteen years I have been employed by the Alief Independent School District as an Assistant Principal at Olle Middle School, O’Donnell Middle School and Martin Elementary. Before becoming an Assistant Principal, I taught at Miller Intermediate and Youngblood Intermediate as a fifth and sixth grade bilingual teacher. My experience with Pre-Kindergarten through eighth grade has given me a unique opportunity to explore the importance of vertical alignment in the developmental processes of children.  Prior to my career in education, I served in the United States Marine Corps where I rose to the rank of sergeant.

At Elsik High School I will be the Assistant Principal for students whose last names are between Jan - Mok.  My number one goal is to work closely with all stakeholders to ensure every student graduates on time.  I will accomplish this by building positive relationships and working together with all involved parties to come up with solutions that are in the best interest of the student.
