Dear Budewig Family,

Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year at Budewig Intermediate! I want to extend a warm welcome to each and every one of you. It is with great excitement that I join Budewig as one of the newest Bulldogs.  I am excited and ready for a great school year as the building principal.

I have been in Alief for 20 years and couldn’t see myself any place else.  I moved to Houston 20 years ago and began my career as a third grade teacher.  I have had many positions in the district including classroom teacher, ESL Lead Teacher, Instructional Specialist, and  Assistant Principal.  This is my first year as a building principal and I am eager to get this school year off to a positive start.

I have two children of my own that I enjoy spending my time with as well as my husband.  I have a son going into the7th grade and a daughter in Fort Worth working in advertising. My husband and I are avid college football fans and spend our weekends cheering on our favorite teams, Roll Tide! Go Iowa Hawkeyes!

I look forward to meeting you the parents, students, and staff.  It is going to be a great year and I am excited to be part of the Budewig Family. Together we are "One Team One Dream! Bulldog Pride"!
