Registration for the May 2023 AP exams will occur in the Fall 2022. Please check with your campus Advanced Academics Officer/GT Specialist for more details about signing up to take AP exams. To ensure timely processing, the deadline for registering to take the May 2023 AP exam is October 31. More information can be found on the AP Exam Fall Registration Information page.

All Alief ISD enrolled students can contact the Advanced Academics Officer/GT Specialist at his or her designated campus to register for AP exams.
Students registering after the deadline will incur a $40.00 late registration fee.
2023 AP Exam Schedule

- Exams have local start times and can begin up to 1 hour after the official start time (i.e., exams can begin between 8–9 a.m. local time for morning exams, between 12–1 p.m. local time for afternoon exams, and between 2–3 p.m. local time for Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism during the regularly scheduled exam administration).

AP Art and Design: Your teacher or AP coordinator will set their own deadline for you to submit your portfolio. After you submit your portfolio to your teacher, the AP coordinator needs to forward it to the AP Program by the first week of May.

AP Seminar and AP Research: May 2, 2022 (11:59 p.m.) is the deadline to submit performance tasks as final and for your presentations to be scored by your AP Seminar or AP Research teacher.

AP Computer Science Principles: May 2, 2022 (11:59 p.m.) is the deadline to submit your Create performance task as final.
- Coordinators are responsible for notifying students when and where to report for the exams. Early testing or testing at times other than those published by the College Board is not permitted under any circumstances.
- Coordinators should order alternate (late-testing) exams for students who would like to take exams that are scheduled for the same time.
