The Center for Advanced Careers opened in the Fall of 2018. Students choosing to participate in the high school programs of study that are offered at the Career Center will take the first or second level courses at their home campuses and will complete advanced courses that are multiple credits at the center. This opportunity is open to students from Elsik, Hastings and Taylor High Schools. Since the opening of the Center, an Electrical Technology Program, a Sports Medicine Program, a Patient Care Technician, multiple dual credit opportunities and a Practicum in STEM have been added to the list of options for students. For more information about the Center for Advanced Careers, talk to any counselor at your home campus and explore the links below.

Alief ISD also offers students the opportunity to earn an Associates of Applied Science in Construction Management or participate in a Pharmacy Technician Certification Program that provides a student to be "core complete" while also earning their Pharmacy Technician Certification. These programs are a partnership with Houston Community College and housed on the Hastings High School Campus.
