MIDDLE SCHOOL STEM NIGHTS
Families of all middle school students engage in a fun-filled STEM night. Families work with their children and engage in math and science focused hands-on activities. Some activities include making catapults out of spoons and measuring distance, and creating mini parachutes. Staff come alongside the families to help facilitate activities and connect school to home through these engaging activities.
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL FAMILY LEARNING ADVENTURES
Elementary campuses are given the opportunity to invite their families to attend a night of learning and fun at the Children’s Museum of Houston. Buses are paid for by the museum and over two hundred families per campus are given the opportunity to attend. Families engage in all of the hands-on TEKS aligned activities offered by the Children’s Museum of Houston.
