Ms. Aimee Panetti

I would like to welcome everyone to a great year in art!
I have more than 20 years of experience teaching art at the middle school and high school level in Alief ISD. I had the pleasure of teaching at Alief Middle School for 20 years and I am now enjoying being a Ram.
As a fine art instructor, my job is to encourage self-awareness, self-expression, and the building of self-esteem. I have always emphasized the students’ development. I let my students know that everyone is at a different level artistically. Their job is to always do the best that they can. The purpose of being in my class is to learn. Everyone has something to learn whether that is how to draw because this is the first art class they have ever taken or a new technique that can be used to improve the skills already possessed. Everyone should leave knowing more than when they started my class.

Ms. Keri Reynolds

Welcome Mighty Rams!

I teach a variety of studio art courses at Elsik including Art I, Painting, Printmaking, Pre-AP Art, and AP 2D Design. I serve as the Fine Arts Department Chair for Elsik and as the Lead High School Art Specialist for Alief ISD. I am also an active member of the Texas Art Education Association and the National Art Education Association and serve as a Juror for the Visual Arts Scholastic Event.

Throughout the creative process students are challenged to develop multiple solutions to problems and to utilize art as vehicle to initiate change and to inspire others. As quoted by painter Edgar Degas, “Art is not what you see but what you make others see”.
