Are there digital materials specifically available for students with reading disabilities?

Yes! These resources are available through Special Services or the Special Education Department. Students can add these resources to their Alief HUB or go directly to the vendor’s website. Talk to your student’s teacher of special education or campus REID for more login information.
- Bookshare - Students can have free access to the largest library of digital textbooks, bestsellers, children's books, career resources, and more! This resource is available across multiple devices and can be found in the Alief HUB or Bookshare.org!
- Learning Ally - Students can have access to an extensive library of human-read audiobooks, bestsellers, fiction, non-fiction and much more! This resource is available across multiple devices and can be found in the Alief HUB or Learningally.org!

The Talking Book Program (TBP) provides free library services to qualifying Texans with visual, physical, or reading disabilities. Families can apply for service at https://www.tsl.texas.gov/tbp/index.html
