• Middle School Assistant Principal

I began my career in Alief ISD in 2005. I previously worked in Houston ISD and Louisiana for a total of ten years, as a middle school teacher/basketball coach. In Alief, I taught Special Education at Owens Intermediate. I also had the opportunity to gain valuable experience there working as a Summer School Coordinator, After-School Tutorial Coordinator, and finally an Assistant Principal Intern.

In 2014, I was appointed Assistant Principal at Alexander Elementary. During my five years there, our administration and staff worked hard to develop leadership skills in our students, as we became the first Alief campus to earn the distinction as a Leader In Me School.

In 2019, I was assigned as Assistant Principal, Middle School at the Alief Learning Center. I look forward to working with the administrative team, staff, and students here, as we continue to promote Literacy and Boys Town Social Skills as ongoing campus initiatives.
