Community and Parental Involvement
Mahanay Elementary works to serve our students, our families and our communities to provide all of our stakeholders opportunities to be involved in activities that strengthen home-school-community ties. We believe an engaged school community gives students the support they need to be successful. We belief that when our school, our families and our community support each other our students of all backgrounds and ability levels achieve at the highest ability.
This school year with the help of our staff, Fame Committee and SDC, we planned activities that were engaging, inviting and offered our parents many opportunities to strengthen their family bonds. Our families participated in Fall Festival, Academic Night, Zumba classes, Cooking Classes (sponsored by the Food Bank), Coffee with the Principal, Fire Safety classes just to name a few.
