State Compensatory Education
-
Alief ISD receives funding from the State of Texas through the State Compensatory Education (SCE) program. The goal of the SCE program is to provide additional resources to reduce any disparity in performance on assessment instruments or disparity in the rates of high school completion between educationally disadvantaged students, at-risk students, and all other students. The program supplements the district's regular educational program by providing additional campus-based personnel and support to help meet the educational needs of at risk students.
