YGB Dress for Excellence Dress Code
Youngblood's dress code highlights for students is as follows. For the full dress code policy, scroll to the bottom of the page.
Shirts- Solid Red, White, or NAVY Blue, Polo-style, tucked in (Shirts must have a collar; no emblems larger than a nickel)
Pants- Solid NAVY Blue, or Khaki, appropriately fitted at the waist; Shorts or Skirts must be within 2 inches above the knee
Socks- Students may only wear one pair of SOLID red, white, navy blue, royal blue or black socks. No mix matching socks. Also no patterns/designs or logos.
Female students may also wear plain footed tights in solid red, white, navy blue or black.
Only girls may wear earrings no larger than a quarter. Boys may not wear earrings
Any other visible body piercings are not allowed
Jackets and Coats are NOT to be worn
Sweaters/Sweatshirts- Solid Red, White, or NAVY Blue with NO logos
Any accessory or clothing that causes disruption may not be worn to school
- Belts must be worn if the garment has belt loops. Belts must be solid black or brown. Cloth belts of any color are prohibited. They cannot be decorative (e.g. no studded, embellished or multi-colored belts.
- A Youngblood I.D. badge is to be worn at all times. It is to be attached to a clip and worn on the shirt collar. Failure to wear an ID is a mode of dress infraction.
