My name is José Serpas and I am excited to be part of Hearne Elementary. I have worked in Alief for 20 years in various positions including classroom teacher, Math Recovery teacher, Title I Math Interventionist, and assistant principal for the last 4 years.  I have experience working with students in PK through 5^th grade. I look forward to working with all students, staff, and family members and building lasting positive relationships with everyone at Hearne.
