Brianna Boyd

Hello Outley Family, my name is Brianna Boyd. This will be my first year with Outley Elementary. I am elated to teach the students about art and a little of art history. I believe art can connect us no matter our many different backgrounds. Watercolor has always been my art medium of choice but I love experimenting with many mediums. Art has always been a part of my life and it’s something I hope to leave with each one of my students.

To my students: I don’t believe in “can’t”, as long as you try! Trying is the first step at succeeding.

Keegan Breaker

“Music is art! Instead of using paint, pencils or colors, musicians use sound and silence to create a picture.”

Hello, my name is Keegan Breaker. I have over 30 years of experience as a musician and 17 years of experience as a music educator. My principal instrument is the trombone. I am trained in classical and jazz. I also have a vast experience in music technology, music composition and production.

I believe that any student can be a musician. It is my job as a music teacher to find their niche. I approach teaching music with a huge focus on music theory (the study of how music is constructed) and literacy (reading music notation).
