As the proud superintendent of this district, I am honored for the opportunity to serve as the leader of this culturally-diverse, high-performing district; nestled in the heart of the fourth largest city in the United States. Alief ISD is a special district within a special community. Our community and district are so diverse. Our families speak over 90 different languages and they bring an array of cultures to our schools. Our students have gone on to be Grammy-nominated performers, governmental leaders, professional athletes, doctors, educational leaders and more; and that is because of the education we have provided our students since our founding over 112 years ago. From the very first students that walked through the doors of our first building over 100 years ago, to the expansive district we have now, it is all possible because of your support.
