    Ms. Marlatt

Welcome! I am from Sugarloaf, Pennsylvania. I attended Edinboro University of Pennsylvania where I received my Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education. I moved to Texas in 1999 where I began my teaching career.  I have taught a variety of grades levels.  In 2009 I continued my educational journey at the University of North Texas where I received my master’s degree in Library and Information Science.

As a Librarian I am working on incorporating 21st century technology and tools to help our students to be successful life-long learners, readers, and citizens with inquiring minds. Collins Library is a great place to work on your technology skills, or just relax and look for some great books.

Please check Collins library page often to see if there are any upcoming event that you are interested in attending.  Please follow us on Twitter @collins_library.

    Ms. Vazquez

Hello, and welcome to Collins Library. My name is Ms. Vazquez.  Prior to moving to Houston I lived in New Jersey where I received a degree from Montclair State University.  Once my family relocated to Houston I attended Saint Thomas University where I received a degree in Theology.  For the past 12 years I have been working in the library at Collins and I love every minute of it.

If you have any questions, please come and ask, I have great knowledge of our library and our online resources.  I look forward to seeing you throughout the 2016-2017 school year.
